During a recent target trip, I picked up a few new clothing items that I can not wait to wear. One of my favorite pieces is this adorable maxi dress. It is currently on sale at Target for $20.98! It is from the brand Universal Threads and also comes in a navy blue.
I love the smocked top and the square neckline. The burgundy color and the longer length make this dress perfect for transitioning into fall.

Because I’m short, I usually don’t gravitate towards maxi dresses. This one works though because the waistband hits higher up, making my legs appear longer. The slit in the bottom also helps to break up the dress and make it less tent-like. For reference, I am 5’3 and the length on this is perfect! I bought an XS.
This dress is super comfy and would be perfect for a fall wedding or a date night.
Dress it down:
Pair with a denim jacket and some tennis shoes
Dress it up:
Add some strappy black heels and a sheer black cardigan/kimono over the shoulders.
