I’ll take any excuse to drink wine with my best friends and take selfies in my pajamas! I started this tradition with a few of my closest friends from work and plan to do it again this year! The Galentine’s Day trend, started by Leslie Knope from Parks & Recreation, has caught on fast and I’m so glad! Valentine’s Day isn’t about having a romantic date night at a fancy restaurant with your significant other. It’s about sharing your love with the people in your life that mean the most to you. So throw a party, drink some rosé, and spread the love to your best gals.
Here are some of the essentials you’ll need for the perfect Galentine’s Day celebration:
Wine:
Run to your nearest Target and grab some Rosé or create your own cocktails using recipes found here. Don’t forget the glasses!
Snacks:
Honestly, the most important category. You can go two ways with this: brunch or late night. For brunch, you would need a little waffle maker, mimosas, and fruit (dipped in chocolate preferably). For a late night party, you will need chocolates/candies, a cheese plate, and popcorn.

Themed plates and napkins will make your party feel way more put together.

Perfect for a brunch-themed party or a late night movie marathon. Who wouldn’t want to party in their pajamas?
