Current Favorites: March

March Current Favorites

March is probably my favorite month because it’s when the weather finally starts to get warmer (occasionally), it’s daylight savings time, and it’s my birthday month! This March went by so fast and I’m honestly confused. I skipped a favorites post last month. I will probably be doing these more like every other month because it’s hard to keep up and I don’t buy new things every month. But I do have some good finds for this one!

Now, let’s get into my current favorite things.

Fashion

I found the cutest round woven bag from Marshalls that will definitely be a spring essential for me. You can find these bags at so many stores right now! I have a few linked on this picture here. During my trip to Florida, I was able to wear some of my new springy pieces such as this dress from Nasty Gal that I love (50% off)! I felt so comfortable in it because of the longer length and the front is a self-tie so you can adjust it as needed. It is also lined so even though it is white it is not see-through at all!  I am also loving jumpsuits lately. Target has some super cute ones right now!

Beauty

I did not buy any new makeup in March, but I did repurchase some favorites from Ulta’s 21 Days of Beauty Sale (still going on!) I picked up the Anastasia Brow Whiz, a few Buxom lip creams, the best moisturizer ever, and the longest wearing liquid eyeliner to ever exist. Also, I re-ordered my favorite cleansing balm from Amazon. I have gone through so many tubs but I just can’t get enough. I talk more about it here in my Korean Skincare post.

Book

I haven’t finished it yet but I am currently reading, Beartown by Fredrik Backman. It was recommended to me by a friend but I am not totally into it (hence why its taken me two months to read). It’s an easy read but the topics aren’t super interesting to me. The book is about hockey, small-town life, teenage boys, sexual abuse, etc. I will finish it though and my rating might change by the end, but as of now I only give it like a 5/10.

Music

I’ve been working on my Spring Playlist on Spotify. You can find it here

Netflix/Amazon

So this is not a new show by any means (or even a popular one?) but I am OBSESSED with Suits. It’s on Amazon Prime, which has been my go-to lately over Netflix. I am not usually one for serious lawyer shows, but I am so invested in this show it’s not even funny. I don’t even know exactly what they are talking about some of the time but I don’t even care. The characters are so good, you feel like you know them personally. They are these funny moments that just fit in so casually and unexpectedly and it’s just great. Just give it a chance, you might like it too!

Food

Hummus. You guys, hummus is so good! My favorite is the Sabra brand. I usually get garlic, greek style, or plain. To eat it with, I switch between pretzel thins, these pita chips, pita bread, or carrots (if I’m feeling healthy on a rare occasion). I always feel a little better about myself when I find something that I like that isn’t chocolate.
